BALLS!!

My god...I thought nothing would ever top Metal Gear Awesome 2's score...

Swain, that was brilliant. It ACTUALLY made me lol. You have won my respect...again...Seriously, how'd you get so good at drawing?!
And, looking at the description...LOL, I THOUGHT I heard some ego in there.

The-Swain responds:

haha, the description means nothing. Learn what, I wonder?

Go figure...

The day I finally decide to submit my flash is the day that the new shamoozal comes out... XD! Noooo, competition!

You don't even need me to tell you what rocks about this flash, but I'll go ahead and tell you anyways. Dynamic Art Style! Smooth animation! Culturally relevent! Funny! The list goes on...

Just keep doing your thing, man.

Nice stuff!

Hard to imagine this is your first flash...the whole thing felt really retro to me, not cause of the black and white, but just cause.

Wonderful!

This collab had a lot less sexual inuedo then I thought it would! Extremely enjoyable!!!

Although, you really should make the authors page easier to navigate...maybe have a screenshot of what they submit so we can see which one they did. The violent pikachu part was...OMG, holycrapsmoothanimation...

How did you pull this off?

screen capture software? or what? Nice stuff, BTW.

liable-to-explode responds:

Frame-by-frame. Thanks!

Wow...

Lots better then the stuff I usually see in the portal! Seriously, so many things about this flowed so well...the music choice was excellent, (turning japanese, nice touch), and it was funny, AND age appropriate. Bet you did that so you can show you're parents and other adults, huh? Yeah, I do that too...

Just a little critisism I'd like to give though. The thing was going really well, right up until the sugar rush scene. From that point on, everything just became a little too random and bizzare...In my opinon, the sun scene was way too dragged out. It just seemed like the plot...wasn't going anywhere, and it was just random events happening...nonetheless, nice stuff. I look forward to your future flashes!

JunkFoodKing responds:

It was made appropriate for the PA High School Computer Fair. The scene with the depressed brain cell originally had him holding a gun up to his head before he's "Sugar-Blasted".

Glad you liked it, and thanks for the constructive criticism. The next few episodes' plots make more sense.

Interesting...

You have qualities of an inexperienced flash animator...and a good one...somethings in your flash I applaud you for:

1. Actually using a walking sound effect.
2. Actually making the flash
3. Actually had a funny ending.

You should definetly work on your animation skills and drawing skills though. However, you have won my respect.

Awesome!

Nice, dude. However, it feels like I've seen this exact flash somewhere before...how long has this been on youtube?

Anyways, radical nonetheless. Hard to imagine this was done in flash...

That hurt my soul...

Seriously...really? Ah well, I don't think you were really expecting to get a frontpage with this...anyways, some tips for improvement.

-Don't steal jokes from family guy. I stopped watching at the "it ain't easy bein cheesy" part, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't get any better from there.
-Don't use the default text. It is hideous to look at, even with italics.
-So many rainbows! Bad!
-also, the song was kinda emo. Just sayin...

johnniboy1205 responds:

You dont have a soul lol jsk and no i wasnt expecting to get to the front page.... also thanks for the tips :P

Holy Crap (in the good way)

So many things about that flash amazed me... The part where he was black and white and getting his colors back one by one, is an example of what I'm talking about. Not only that, but I applaud your style as well. The music in every part fit perfectly, and the camera angles seemed like they were taken straight from a movie. If I am going to give you any constructive critisism, I'd just say to work on your drawings and animation a little bit. It seemed like there were times where you couldn't decide weather to do a motion tween or a frame by frame (NOT counting the drug trip). Really pleased with your work though, and It'll only get better with practice.

Haroshi responds:

Thanks for your in-depth review.

Your thoughts are much appreciated. :D

Mikael Here. Nowheresville: ep 1 is coming! I need to edit the voice-overs, and draw some backgrounds, but it's coming together! Expect more updates soon!
